Our Mission

The Pagan Students' Association was created so there would be a safe place on campus for students to meet, socialize, and talk openly about Paganism.  Although many members are Pagan, the PSA is a forum for people of all religious paths who seek to better themselves through contact with our Mother Earth and various earth-based religions.

Our Goals

Some of the goals the PSA would like to accomplish is to promote an understanding of both the basic principles and the diverse practices of Paganism and earth-based religion as well as a greater tolerance for religious differences as a whole.   We hope to create an avenue for Pagan, Pagan-friendly, and Pagan-curious students to gather and work on environmental, educational, and community enriching projects and programs.

We hope to also act as a networking vehicle for area-Pagans providing contacts, support, and encouragement.  This may be particularly helpful for people interested in learning more about earth-based religions by introducing them to others with like-minds and beliefs both inside and outside of USM.
