In order to facilitate the creation of new student groups, all students seeking to start their own organization must complete the New Student Organization Orientation. This orientation will introduce students to the process of starting a new organization, inform them of helpful resources at the university, and provide tips to make the process successful. Students will need to schedule an appointment with the Executive Board of the Board of Student Organizations at (207) 228-8502 or email at usm_bso@gmail.com . Prospective groups will not be able to be recognized by the Student Senate or Board of Student Organizations until they have attended an orientation.
