We are a student run group
dedicated to giving students a chance to experience every aspect
of the performing arts, from onstage performance to backstage
work as well as directing and design. Regardless of what a
student's interest is in the field, there is an opportunity in
our group. The events we put on include one full length show
each semester which is directed, designed, built, performed, and
run by students, a cabaret, a student written Ten-Minute-Play
Festival, coffee houses, fund raisers, and even our own awards
show at the end of the school year. In addition, we also go on
an annual trip to the American College Theatre Festival, which
is a week long event in the New England area featuring a
scholarship competition, workshops, and several shows. SPA is an
active group, and we are always thrilled to welcome anyone who
wants to get involved in the performing arts! |
