Students for Maine PIRG

Group name: Students for Maine PIRG

Description: Students for Maine PIRG is a non-partisan student group
working to promote social and political activism on the USM campus. We work to
bridge the gap between the campus, the city, the state and the nation in an
effort to bring about positive social change. Our long-term goal is to become an
official PIRG chapter at USM, which would serve as a resource for all the
existing student groups and help to foster student leadership on campus. We
advocate for any issues that are relevant to USM students, and are always open
to suggestions.
