Group name: Model United Nations Club

Description: Model U.N. is dedicated to farthing students knowledge of international politics and peaceful conflict resolution through participation in a variety of activities. The group attends annual Model U.N. conferences, where University students from around the country and world come together to simulate committees of the United Nations. Delegates take on the role of a country and learn to represent that nation's interests. Model U.N. also believes in sharing the experience with the Maine community. It does this by hosting an annual Maine Model U.N. conference for high school students all around the State. We also are always looking for other activities which could further enrich the USM community. We are always in need of motivated, hard working students who want to learn and have a lot of fun while doing so.
