Description: Open
to all USM students interested in gender related issues, the GSSO
sponsors speakers and events on campus and in the community,
participates in local and national gender studies conferences, and
represents students on the Women's Studies Council and its committees.
The goal of the group is to participate actively in the Women's Studies
Program and to generate events, educate the campus on various issues in
gender studies, including women's studies, comparative gender studies,
and gay/lesbian/bisexual studies. |
